A Head of UX / Creative Director is wanted by a Market Leading Global Digital Creative Agency where you will work with some of the world's greatest brands.

As the Head of UX / Creative Director - UX you will take on a leadership role in building, guiding, and growing a highly motivated and innovative UX team. You will be able to forge and articulate a vision for the department, which the team can use to steer their day-to-day duties as well as acting as a thought leader for our clients.

Leading by example you demonstrate a passion for creating the best online experiences. You'll have led, contributed and won pitches with your user experience knowledge. You embrace and collaborate in strategic thinking and know how it influences UX and commercial decisions.

Strong hands-on experience is an absolute must. Once the strategic thinking is done, you are able to jump in to lead and/or work through the details - from data-analysis, research, UX workshops, storyboards and user flows, wireframing, briefing - you'll need to be confident in communicating this to your stakeholders and clients.

THE PERSON

You have deep knowledge of the industry, with 10+ years in the User Experience discipline and have worked on a number of UX and CRO projects. You have led teams of UX and designers. You are an effective communicator with the ability to engage with people on all levels, including senior management, product owners and day-to-day team members across disciplines.

You love driving sales & conversion. You have strong experience with a range of UX and CRO tools and platforms and are familiar with related fields - CRM, search, AB/multivariate testing, analytics and research. You are aware of market trends and anticipate direction.

You will be leading a team of talented hybrid designers who are comfortable taking work from conception to completion. On some accounts, where the brand is locked down and the style guide set, the UX team creates pixel-perfect final designs. On other accounts, visual design specialists lean in to help set the visual direction. However, having UI design experience, design system management, and an appreciation of design trends and craft would be highly beneficial.

You will be working on some of the biggest brands in the world. From finance to technology. Retail to automotive. You will relish this variety and the opportunity it brings. And importantly you have a desire to create world-class work for world-class brands.

This is an urgent role that will progress through the process at speed. The successful candidate will ideally start 1 st week of March, but a 3 month notice period is expected.
